This is my avatar that perfectly explains me! Unfortunately, I did not upload an image of my avatar when I posted about it many weeks prior. Therefore, I decided to basically redo that post. My avatar contains many unique qualities in me, including my bright green eyes and brown curly hair. Also, although this might not be very apparent, the background is at a ski slope. That is because I absolutely love skiing and if I could, I would definitely live in the snow! Let me know what you think of my avatar!

I created this image on DoppelMe. The link is attached!

Natural Beauties of Lakes

In my opinion, lakes are truly the most beautiful aspect of nature. First of all, there is absolutely nothing to fear in a lake! The water is calm and pleasant, making it very easy to cruise along the water in a paddle board. Additionally, I am terrified of sharks, so I constantly think about getting bitten when riding waves in the ocean. However, in a lake, the most to fear are little fish and an occasional eel. Also, the ocean is extremely unpredictable, for several rolling waves pass by, and then out of nowhere, a crashing monsoon cradles over me. The strength of the ocean and the fact that it can pull me out to sea in a riptide is a frightening thought, so it is nice to just relax in a lake while still experiencing the chilling water. The lake is simply a better environment for a person like me.

Next, a lake provides the benefit of water skiing, wake boarding, or tubing! While all of these are possible in an ocean, the ocean is a little more unpredictable and sometimes dangerous. These joyous activities on the lake result in lasting memories, for I will never forget all of my incredible adventures on Lake Tahoe and Lake Powell. I still remember my veins pulsing with adrenaline as the boat lifted me out of the water and I swiftly glided along the water on a wake board, wishing I could never fall. The lake even provides perfect rocks to jump off of, yet another thrill! Overall, even though a lake might not have large waves, there are plenty of other ways to make the experience just as exciting!

Finally, I associate lakes with incredible times, for I had my Bat Mitzvah at Lake Tahoe. Fortunately, my entire family could accompany me at this memorable occasion! Before hand, I took a quick dip in the sadly shallow lake given the drought, along with some GoPro photos! Then, right on the gorgeous, glistening water, I lead my Bat Mitzvah ceremony, with the most perfect backdrop in my midst. Then, bright and early the next morning, I woke up and participated in some fun-filled activities, including tubing, water skiing, and wake boarding. I could not have chosen a more perfect place to have my Bat Mitzvah, given that I love lakes! That trip to Lake Tahoe would surely be one I will never forget!

Both of these images I took in Lake Tahoe. The first image on the left was my first trip to the North shore, whereas the other photo was over this summer on the South shore.

Attaches are two links about Lake Tahoe and Lake Powell, which I briefly mentioned.

Most Common Foods in America

Apple Pie

Apple pie is very popular all around the country ever since the Pilgrims came and made it. This scrumptious desert is filled with apples. surrounded by a smooth but crumbly bread crust. This pie started during the Pilgrims because they had an abundance of apples and made this delicious treat to fill their hungry stomachs! I love apple pie, especially after Thanksgiving dinner. I found this image on http://images.edge-generalmills.com/b89a36f2-7994-4560-9ad6-085fda9163f0.jpg and learned about apple pies on http://www.cheatsheet.com/life/a-taste-of-america-10-of-the-most-iconic-foods-in-the-u-s.html/?a=viewall.

My Lunch

My favorite foods are quinoa and lentils. Therefore, I always have a combination of my two favorite foods in my lunch! Also, I love to eat bars, so I usually pack in a Cliff Bar. Finally, I like to have some sort of fruit or vegetables, usually being strawberries or blueberries. All in all, lunch is a delicious meal that I love to eat!

Halloween Wallpaper

In spirit of Halloween and the Week 4 Activity 1 task, I added a Halloween wallpaper to my background! This wallpaper contains ghosts, spiders, bats, and bones! I wanted to decorate my blog in a simple yet spirited way. I found this wallpaper on http://funmozar.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Happy-Halloween-Wallpaper-21.jpg.

Halloween Story

Once upon a time, there was an odd man named Darwin who lived in a small town. Everyone knew he was out of the ordinary, but little did they know his deepest secrets. He always seemed to act funny when people walked past him, trying to avoid their presence. There was something strange about his appearance, for he was always quite pale and his image was somewhat fuzzy or unclear. One night, a towns person was walking home behind Darwin, without Darwin’s knowledge. Then, the most peculiar thing happened. Darwin walked right into his apartment without opening any doors, for he simply walked right through the door. Darwin was a ghost!

How I Celebrate Halloween

I absolutely love Halloween! I always go trick-or-treating with all of my friends and we get an abundance of candy! My dad loves to join me, and we always have a fantastic time! By far, my favorite candy are Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, for I am obsessed with the combination of creamy peanut butter and smooth chocolate! This past year, I was a lion for Halloween, and I usually try to be clever with my costume! One year, I made my own M&M costume! Overall, Halloween is such an amazing night that I look forward to every year!
